Montréal Complètement Cirque near UQAM

The 15e edition of Montréal Complètement Cirque, the international circus arts festival, will take place from July 4 to 14 in several locations in the metropolis, notably around UQAM, on Place Pasteur, at the Jardins Gamelin and on rue Saint- Denis.

The acrobats from Cirqu’Easy Loto-Québec will take over Place Pasteur every day, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight, except July 8. Spontaneous circus performances will be presented in a festive atmosphere.

The Social Circus Carnival will be held at the Gamelin Gardens on July 9 and 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Created by the organization Cirque Hors Piste, the carnival brings together emerging circus artists as well as marginalized or at-risk people. of exclusion.

Circassian performances will take place on Saint-Denis Street, between Sainte-Catherine and Sherbrooke Streets, every day, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., except July 8. A table that transforms into a circus ring, a German wheel that becomes a public bench and a trapeze sky will be among the attractions.

Created in 2010, Montréal Complètement Cirque is the result of a collaboration between TOHU, Cirque Éloize, Les 7 Fingers de la Main, Cirque du Soleil, the National Circus School and En Piste. UQAM has been a partner of the festival since 2012.
