A theft was committed in the village. The “romantic zone, obligation to kiss” sign was violently stolen a few days ago, as the town of Drucourt announced on its Facebook page. 6 months ago, the municipality installed an original sign.

During a trip to Italy, I saw this sign establishing a cuddle zone. I thought we could do the same thing in Drucourt. Create a unique little corner, near the church.

For the occasion, he called on a specialized company, then the panel was installed by the technical agent.

“I asked him to hang it securely on the ground with nuts and that's what he did. But the thieves have completely destroyed the bench to get it back,” says the councilor indignantly.

On its Facebook account, the town hall launched a wanted notice and asks anyone who has seen this “not common” sign to return it to the town hall.

“In the end it becomes discouraging to have ideas for the village. If we know that they will be destroyed in a few months,” laments Nicolas Thuret.

The mayor hopes to see the sign again. Otherwise, the councilor does not know if he will recommend another.
