LThe Unia 2023 report was presented this Tuesday morning to the Committee on Health, Environment and Social Action of the Parliament of Wallonia. Patrick Charlier, the director of this independent institution dedicated to the fight against discrimination and the defense of equal opportunities, initially wanted to reframe the purpose of the approach.

Unia is an “interfederal” center, financed by the public authorities and “at the service of all parliaments”, explained Patrick Charlier in substance. Its 2023 report has already been presented to the federal and German-speaking parliaments. It will be exhibited in the coming weeks before the parliamentary assemblies of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and the Brussels-Capital Region.
