Senegal concluded its qualifying campaign for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) with a convincing victory against Burundi, this Tuesday, November 19, at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. A solid performance which confirms their leadership position and their status as favorite in Group L.
The Lions of Teranga won 2-0 thanks to a double from Habib Diarra. The Senegalese midfielder opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, before doubling the lead at the start of the second half, in the 50th minute.
