The France Nature environment branch in Tarn-et-Garonne targeted by farmers

In the south of Montauban, the premises of France Nature Environnement (FNE) were damaged for the third time this yearthis Monday, November 18 around 10 p.m. The association's cameras filmed farmers breaking down the gate with their tractor, some of the cameras were also destroyed. Footage from the remaining cameras shows a trailer full of waste dumped in front of the premises.

“They consider that we environmentalists are responsible for their problems“, reacted the association. Last winter, the gate had been left intact but waste, including asbestos, had been left in front of the entrance to the premises. insults had also been tagged on the walls of the building.

The FNE branch of Tarn-et-Garonne has filed a complaint. The president of the FNE association, Antoine Gatet, was received this Tuesday, November 19 at 5 p.m. at the office of the Ministry of the Environment following the increase in attacks and damage in certain local branches.

In Toulouse, the FNE premises located within the Environment House had been targeted twice in October by the Rural Coordination, on October 6 and at the end of the month.
