An individual threatens a motorist with a knife for a parking space in

According to our colleagues at The Dispatch, an individual allegedly violently attacked a motorist and threatened him with a knife in the Lot-et-Garonne department. The latter then went to the police station to report this altercation and file a complaint.

While the victim had just parked in a space reserved for cash conveyors, an individual suddenly punctured his tires. The latter would have become angry upon noticing this incivility. As for him, the owner of the vehicle explains that he parked in this place in order to quickly deposit a check in his banking establishment. The attacker then allegedly threatened him with the knife. To defend himself, the victim allegedly kicked him.

A conflict that escalates

It took the intervention of a third person, a bank employee, to prevent this incident from turning into a tragedy. The police were urgently alerted and went to the site to investigate the incident.

The attacker, an individual aged thirty-four, was arrested by the police and then taken into police custody. Following a request for psychiatric expertise, he was released during the day.
