“Marathon Photo Lens 2024” is the result of a creative and inclusive approach involving young people from the local mission of Lens-Liévin on the destination “Around the Louvre-Lens”.
It’s a great project carried out by Pas-de-Calais Tourism and co-financed by the European Union. From November 20 to December 17, 2024, the Hôtel du Département hosts an exhibition entitled « Marathon Photo Lens 2024 »the result of a creative and inclusive approach involving young people on the integration path of the local mission of Lens-Liévin in the destination “Around the Louvre-Lens” (ALL). Accompanied by Jean-Michel André, artist photographer, they created the Marathon Photo Lens 2024.

A marathon on Lensois heritage
The initiative is part of the strategy “Growing together” of Pas-de-Calais Tourism. The event allowed 28 amateur photographers to take up a challenge: that of highlighting Lensois heritage through their photographic talent. And the result is spectacular! You will be able to see this during the opening scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Hôtel du Département du Pas-de-Calais (Arras, rue Ferdinand-Buisson).
