It’s the regulations that want it. The presentation of Gaillac Primeur always occurs on the third Thursday of the month of November (whether red or white). And inevitably, this gives rise to events in this vineyard of Tarn strong in 400 wine growers. This is the case with Chai my winemaker. Four days of tastingsactivities, concerts, hikes and other visits in Gaillac.

The celebration of the only early wine from the South-West recognized as a protected designation of origin will therefore be organized from November 21 to 24, 2024 in one of the oldest vineyards in (fourth century BC).

In all, these are nearly forty animations around wine which are planned from Thursday to Sunday.

The side of wine

With a new feature, company visits. “Wine is the cultivation of the vine and the art of grape fermentation, but it is also a whole set of know-how that is both traditional and innovative, those of cooperage for example, or those of corks, glassware or design etiquette”, argue the organizers, who will therefore offer the opportunity to discover companies belonging to the Gaillac Wines ecosystem with guided tours inside the workshops.
