Jean Le Cam widens the gap at the head of the Vendée Globe with 48 miles ahead of Sam Goodchild, followed by Sébastien Simon at 80 miles.
Jean Le Cam (Everything begins in Finistère – Armor-Lux), leader since the day before the 10th edition of the Vendée Globe, strengthened his lead during the night. Tuesday morning, at 7:00 a.m., he was almost 48 miles ahead of Sam Goodchild (Vulnerable), his main pursuer.
Sébastien Simon (Groupe Dubreuil) was in third place, 80 miles behind the veteran of the race. Following an eastward trajectory, Le Cam sailed between Cape Verde and the African coast before heading west.
