Day 2, Tuesday November 19, of the farmers' mobilization launched on Monday by the FNSEA and the Young Farmers (JA). It is the turn of Rural Coordination, the second agricultural union further to the right, to enter the scene. The union promises “an agricultural revolt” with a blockage of food freight from Wednesday, first in the south-west of France. Farmers oppose the Mercosur agreement which must be signed before the end of the year between the EU and Latin American countries. Hit by poor harvests and the emergence of animal diseases, they also deplore the delay in the implementation of some of the 70 commitments made last winter by the previous government after the mobilization at the start of 2024.

OCCITANIA
Rural Coordination is calling for rallies in front of the prefectures: in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) from 10 a.m., in Albi (Tarn) around 2 p.m.
From 7 a.m., Rural Coordination convoys will set off in the Gers towards Auch. From 9 a.m., in Auch, the Place de la Libération, the Allées d'Étigny and the Foirail car park will be blocked. These blockages are expected to last at least until Wednesday.

In Vienne, no blockages are planned on the road on Tuesday, declared the vice-president of FNSEA 86 on France Bleu Poitou. “The priority for us is still to harvest and sow. The weather will quickly influence the actions that will follow”declared Laurent Lambert.
CENTER-VAL-DE-Loire
In Center-Val-de-Loire, the Young Farmers and the FDSEA du Cher are planning tractor processions in Bourges on Tuesday, reports France Bleu Berry.
