According to data from meteorological institutes, the first snowflakes will fall from 300 meters. Météo indicates that snow mixed with rain will fall Thursday morning in significant quantities in Villefontaine, Theys, Valjouffrey and Bourg d'Oisans.

Smaller quantities are expected in Voiron, Saint-Marcellin and Villard-de-Lans throughout the day. The Grenoble metropolitan area should be spared from snow.
