After the actions organized by the FNSEA and the Young Farmers in Île-de-France on Monday, and in particular the occupation of two lanes on the N118, it is the turn of the Rural Coordination to call for mobilization. The union makes an appointment Tuesday November 19 in front of the Essonne prefecture, in Évry-Courcouronnesfrom 6 a.m.
A mobilization which will lead to disruptions and slowdowns on the road, since farmers are called upon to travel with their tractors. The Essonne prefecture advises avoiding the routes taken by the convoy : the A6 towards Paris, the N104 towards Corbeil-Essonnes, or the N7 towards Évry-Courcouronnes.
Among the demands of this mobilization, there is obviously the free trade treaty of Mercosurcurrently being discussed at the G20 in Brazil. But Ile-de-France farmers also denounce the standards imposed on farmers in Francedifferent from those of the rest of the European Union, a situation of injustice according to them. Finally, some deplore promises that were not kept after the first mobilization of French farmers last January and February.
