An accident that could have been fatal. This Saturday, November 16, 2024, a public road accident involving a single vehicle occurred around 11 p.m. on the A6 motorway, near Villabé, in the direction of Paris towards Province.

Three injured in absolute emergency

When they arrived on site, firefighters from the Essonne department carried out the extrication of the driver of the vehicle and his two passengers. The latter, in a state of absolute emergency, were taken directly to hospital.

During the rescue operations, the two right lanes as well as the emergency lane of the A6 motorway were neutralized.

In total, 23 firefighters 7 rescue centers, helped by 11 machines, were mobilized on site.

Note that the exact circumstances of this accident are not known, the Essonne Departmental Fire and Rescue Service nevertheless mentions “violent kinetics”.
