He reiterates. Saint-Denis FC retains “the title” by winning its match against JS Saint-Pierroise, this Sunday, November 17 at the Volnay stadium, in Saint-Pierre. The Dionysians will represent Reunion in the 8th round of the Coupe de France.
From the start of the match, Saint-Denis FC set the pace. He opens the scoring in the 23rdth minute of play, with a ball headed to the far post by Berajo, on a free kick from Yoann Guichard, and thanks to a careless mistake from the Saint-Pierroise defense.
If the Storks then returned to the game, they did not manage to make it happen, despite several chances. The Dionysians scored a second goal in the second half, 20 minutes before the end of the match.
Thanks to a penalty in the 72ndth minute, Saint-Pierroise reduced the score thanks to a strike from Gladyson.
But the Dionysians have not said their last word. Dorian Bertrand offers a 3th goal at Saint-Denis FC, 10 minutes later, then a 4th goal at the very end of the match.
The Dionysians therefore qualify for 8th round of the French Cup. They will therefore represent Reunion Island against the metropolitan teams in the remainder of the competition.
Saint-Denis FC will host its metropolitan opponent on 1is next December, possibly at the Jean Ivoula stadium in Saint-Denis.
