There are still many reasons for concern in the agricultural world. They will make it known again on Wednesday November 20 in Nièvre.
Nivernais farmers had recently recalled, notably during the general assembly on Friday November 15 of one of their representative unions, that they still had many reasons for concern.
And announced their desire to make this known to the public authorities and the general public. For Nièvre, Wednesday November 20 will be a day of call for agricultural mobilization, published the FDSEA and JA 58 on social networks.
Anger of farmers, SNCF, civil service… What we know about upcoming strikes at the end of the year
Seven road junctions targeted
“After taking you across South America, we want to hit harder. » This allusion to the entrances to Nivernais towns and villages, certain posts of which have been capped, tarpaulined, and renamed after Brazilian, Colombian, Argentine towns, this week is a strong sign of the farmers' opposition to the prospects of an agreement of free trade between the European Union and the countries of South America. An agreement which would be unbalanced on the agricultural level, because South American standards are much less restrictive than in Europe.
Seven road junctions in Nièvre are particularly targeted: Challuy and Forges near Nevers, but also Château-Chinon, Luzy, Decize, La Charité-sur-Loire and Clamecy, from 8 a.m., Wednesday November 20.
