Four charred bodies were found in the car: five dead in a terrible road accident this Sunday in Occitania

Five dead. This is the outcome of a terrible traffic accident which occurred on Sunday November 17 in Tarn around 4:30 a.m., reports The Dispatch. The tragedy occurred on departmental road 988, at the exit of Gaillac.

Emergency services on site “found a vehicle on fire with four charred people insidedetail our colleagues. A fifth person, thrown from the car, was in cardiorespiratory arrest. This young man, around twenty years old, has unfortunately died”.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the car left the road before hitting two trees.

In 2023, 3,398 people lost their lives on the roads of France, according to final data from the National Interministerial Road Safety Observatory (ONISR). For the year 2024, full official figures will not be available until January 2025.
