One victim was transported to Layné hospital and the other to Dax hospital, both in a state of absolute emergency.

A terrible road accident took place on Thursday, November 14 around 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of the Solférino church located on departmental road 44 between Solférino and Sabres. For an undetermined reason, a truck and a car collided head-on. Under shock, the driver of the truck, aged 26, ended up in a ditch and the car driven by a 42-year-old driver ended up on the opposite side on the right. The SDIS40 deployed a major rescue system: around twenty firefighters and a team from SMUR 40 intervened to come to the aid of the two victims incarcerated in their respective passenger compartments. The driver of the truck was taken care of by the firefighters and transported in a state of absolute emergency to the Layné hospital in Mont-de-Marsan. As for the driver, she was also transported in a state of absolute emergency to Dax hospital. The Parentis-en-Born gendarmerie brigade went to the scene to carry out the usual findings. Traffic was cut off in both directions while the emergency services carried out the operation.
