What will the City of Thionville offer for this 2024 version of the end-of-year celebrations which starts on November 23 and ends on December 24? “New features,” announces in the preamble Thierry Ghezzi, deputy “City heart action and commerce”. We have improved the program of festivities, starting with the arrival of a carousel on the Place de l'Eglise, in front of Saint-Maximin. In fact, a giant illuminated tree located near the nursery, decorated with baubles to welcome families. It will be free, like the little train at Place Au-Bois. We continue in our line of offering as much free as possible. »
And to always specify on the register of change: “The ice rink is enlarged, as well as the space for changing, the Saint-Nicolas parade will be more dense, a mapping will be projected on the square in front of the town hall, musical groups will wander the streets, and there will be more chalets. A special effort has been made to modernize lighting throughout the city.” The public will appreciate this renewal from next week. In the meantime, here is the calendar of upcoming events, in the city center and in the neighborhood villages.
