“I’m shocked. My team too. I’m 44 years old, I come from a modest family and I was never told that I wasn’t at home in France. Obviously, I took a hit” , Aude Amadou confided on the phone this Monday morning.
This Sunday evening, in the town of Pont-Saint-Martin, south of Nantes, “we are at home” stickers from the small far-right group Génération identitaire, dissolved in 2021, were discovered on his campaign posters. Aude Amadou, former professional handball player and former MP (2017-2022), is the “Renaissance – Ensemble! – candidate in the 4th constituency of Loire-Atlantique for the early legislative elections.
Yannick Fetiveau, the mayor of the town of Pont-Saint-Martin, sent him a message of support. Aude Amadou also specifies that she alerted the prefecture, who invited her to file a complaint. Which must be done in the afternoon, this Monday.
