This weekend, the castle of the bishops will be the scene of the 34th GastrÔleries of Monistrol-sur-Loire. An unmissable event for foodies.
Deliciousness galore. For its 34th edition, the GastrÔleries returns to the Château des évêques, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. And it’s a hearty menu that will be reserved for visitors by Les Amis du Château. Around thirty professionals will be present and will offer products from very different fields.
Two culinary demonstrations on the program
As usual, wine and spirits will be in the spotlight. From whiskey to red wine, lovers of good bottles should find what they are looking for (always in moderation). As for food enthusiasts, they should not be left out. Jams, cold meats, honey, foie gras, snails and other dishes will be discovered and enjoyed during the two days of celebrations. In addition to these tastings, two culinary demonstrations are on the program.
In Puy-en-Velay, with the Potage des chefs, 34 restaurateurs are mobilizing for a good cause
The first will take place this Saturday at 3 p.m. by Jean-Pierre Nuel and the second will be given by David Martin (le Pot'Y Néron), Sunday at 3 p.m. Finally, to complete an already attractive menu, two meals will be offered. On Sunday, a gourmet meal will be prepared by the Kitch'n chef. As a starter, he will put wild boar terrine and lentils and purple mustard on the table. For the main course, it will be a turkey stir-fry with morels, stuffed cabbage and chestnuts to be enjoyed before a dessert composed of a creamy chocolate pear, a caramelized crisp and a persimmon juice with gingerbread.
