The chalet and gondolas at Chez Monix

And one more season for Chez Monix! Prepare the mittens and moon boots, this time we're embarking on a real ski resort at the gates of Paris. On the program? A mountain chalet of the most stylish – with fireplace, cauldrons, vintage skis and everyone – at the heart of a real Christmas village surrounded by a fir forest, with around twenty Vintage gondolas and cable cars from the 60s. But above all, Chez Monix offers you a bunch of cheeses to sink your teeth into! The map also reveals authentic simmered dishes which give balm to the heart like the famous stewthe veal blanquette or even the good one stuffed cabbagebut also some pieces grilled over a wood fire such as grilled sea bass or prime rib.

The chocolate bar at Jardins du Marais

Nestled in a discreet paved alley in the Marais, in the heart of an immense furnished winter terrace of 1,500 m2the famous Chocolate bar at Jardins du Marais is back for this new winter season. On the menu of celebrations: a beautiful selection of chocolate biteswaffles drizzled with chocolate, caramel and whipped cream, all accompanied by mulled wine or a delicious hot chocolate. In terms of decoration, it's flawless: you have the feeling of having finished sliding down a very tough red slope and of being rewarded with a little cocoon in which to sit down. The little extra: throws are available, while you feel like you're in the mountains with the – false – animal skins that adorn the tables.

Monsieur Aristide’s raclette chalet

Raclette lovers, this is where it happens. The Monsieur Aristide hotel, in the 18th, is transforming its covered (and heated) terrace in a real winter chalet until February. The right place to come and eat, toast, sing and dance with friends, at least if you still have the energy afterwards a good raclette and good Savoie wines engulfed. Traditional, with smoked salmon, truffle, bresaola or in a vegetarian version, all desires will be satisfied! All to be washed down with a glass of Savoie gènepi, as tradition dictates.

Babines Station at the Grand Quartier hotel

The Grand Quartier hotel hosts Babines Station in its gigantic courtyard, a village of chalet-refuges offering a mountain experience all winter. On the menu of these cocooned spaces: traditional Swiss fondues with Gruyère and Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP – available with morels or truffles for the more daring – where you can dip the delicious bread from Mamiche.
