Pénélopéa is placed in compulsory liquidation. A company established in Lozère for two years, in the Tieule business area, near the A75. The company specializes in the installation of photovoltaic panels, and employs 27 people, including administrators, construction managers, electricians, installers, etc.
According to its manager, Boris Fabié, Pénélopéa began to encounter serious difficulties from the end of August 2024, in particular because of a unpaid debt of several hundred thousand euros and a sudden cancellation of orders worth more than one million euros by a major customer of the company. “Following these events, we contacted several leading companies in the photovoltaic sector to consider a possible takeover of Pénélopéa. explains Boris Fabié. These discussions, which aimed to save the company and preserve jobs, ultimately failed at the beginning of November, because no buyer potential did not follow up.
The company emphasizes that it did not receive any public aid during its establishment in 2022.
