Saturday November 9, 2024, the town of Champeaux, next to Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine), not only received the Municipality of rural heritage label of , she also inaugurated her nouvel escape gamewhich she has been preparing since the beginning of the year.

Immersion in local history

“The Espinay Manuscript”, named after château monumental and the famous lineage that resided there, is a life-size escape game, entirely in immersion virtual. It allows you to delve into Champagne life at the end of the 16th century.e century.

“The commoner women of Brittany, a secret society that has spanned the ages, are looking for the secret manuscript of Claude d'Espinay, daughter of Duke Guy III d'Espinay and his wife, Louise de Goulaine. While a strange portal is discovered during work in the town, this mysterious order contacts you. Seasoned space-time travelers, fearless adventurers, you are tasked with getting your hands on this manuscript and bringing it back to our time. Direction the year of our Lord 1596.”

To do this, the town acquired two former canons' houses in a corner of the Place du Cloister. The story was imagined by Marie-Charlotte Durand, who worked on the project in civic service.
