Maine-et-Loire: watch out for scams

In the Maine-et-Loire also, the firefighters are out, in order to offer their new calendars to residents.

This is why the Sdis (Departmental Fire and Rescue Service) of the department launched a call for caution among the population, to avoid any risk of scam.

Beware of scams when distributing firefighter calendars! Real firefighters wear their official uniform and can present their professional card on request.

If in doubt: contact the gendarmerie

Ce prevention message was relayed on the firefighters' social networks.

The latter have some advice, so as not to be fooled: “when in doubt, report to law enforcement » any suspicious behavior, i.e. contact the gendarmerie or the police.
