The 8th international Amazigh film days in Ars-sur-Moselle will take place from November 22 to 30.
For the 8th consecutive year, the festival invites the public of the Grand Est to a highly cultural encounter, around quality Berber cinematographic works.
A rich and diverse program with:
– 8 feature films,
– 7 short films and
– 6 documentaries.
These productions deal with women's fight for their emancipation and freedoms, history, exile and social issues with a strong emphasis on immigration and tolerance.
More than 20 screenings will punctuate this 2024 edition, followed by lively debates with directors, actors and authors from the four corners of the world.
The official opening of JIFA 2024 will feature the documentary “La Promesse d’Imane”, by Nadia Zouaoui, a posthumous tribute to activist Imane for her fight.
This screening-debate will take place in the presence of the director.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Union cinema located at 3, rue Moulin Ars-sur-Moselle.
