Cahors. Lamagdelaine retains the Lot Cup

The Lot Cup final was played on Sunday, November 10 at the Cahors bowling alley with an organization dedicated to volunteers from Pétanque Cadurcienne led by Fabrice Haras. The match was refereed by Albert Imbert and François Pechmalbec. The scorer's table was held by Jean-Paul Buri and Sandrine Baginski.

This meeting played in the form of a derby pitted the players from Lamagdelaine against their counterparts from Mercuès.

The head-to-head games saw the title holders take the advantage by gleaning four victories through Stéphanie Rosi, André Seigler, Jérémy Cauvin and Wilfried Rosi.

For Mercuès Sylvain Vincent and Adrien Labrande won their duel. Lamagdelaine then led 8 to 4.

After the second phase of play played in doubles, Lamagdelaine retained leadership of the match by leading 11 to 10 on the scoreboard thanks to the narrow victory of Stéphanie Rosi and Jérémy Cauvin. Adrien Labrande and Sylvain Florenty on the one hand and Louis Illescas, Christophe Vielcastel on the other hand raised their heads on the Mercuès side.

The victory acquired by the mixed triplet of Lamagdelaine, composed of Stéphanie and Wilfried Rosi and Jérémy Cauvin, sealed the fate of the match; the other part was stopped, the result becoming null and void.

Thanks to this 16-10 victory, the Lamagdelaine players achieved the double and retained custody of the Lot Cup for another year.
