According to videos by independent journalist Luc Auffret on X, tags were written on the front of the American fast food multinational. “Accomplice”, «Boycott», «Free Palestine» were written in red paint. The windows were also broken. The procession then resumed its route towards Place de la République.
Gathering near Place de l’Etoile
Near the Place de l'Etoile, several dozen people gathered, coming at the call of organizations such as SOS Racisme in particular, some of them carrying signs: “Smotrich, fascist, we don’t want him”according to an AFP journalist. Among the crowd, some left-wing political figures like Clémentine Autain, Alexis Corbière and Raquel Garrido.
