The presence of numerous rodent droppings“evidence of a massive infestation by harmful animals”, underlines the Val-d’Oise prefecture. But also several products, notably fresh meat, found with expired use-by dates.

An emergency closure was declared against the Bistrot du Center, located in the Oseraie shopping center in Osny (Val-d'Oise) following a health controlthe Val-d’Oise prefecture announced this Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Numerous infractions noted

During their inspection, agents of the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations of Val-d'Oise (Ddpp 95) noted numerous offenses : pest control not controlled, foodstuffs unfit for consumption, stored in inadequate conditions and whose traceability was not ensured. But also dirty equipment and premises not equipped with devices allowing hygienic hand cleaning.

“Due to these shortcomings and due to the risk of contamination or development of micro-organisms and food poisoning, the establishment was closed,” indicates the Val-d’Oise prefecture.

The closure measure will be lifted as soon as the establishment meets current standards.
