In a few years, we will be able to cross the Lausanne-Morges area by bike or on foot, on a secure path. This is the Voie verte, which will connect Saint-Prex to Lutry. A section of this path crosses the town of Morges, along the lake: it is the Morgian Greenway.

The project includes not only the soft mobility route, but also work on the rockfill of the Strawinsky quay, the renewal of underground pipes and even developments in favor of biodiversity. The overall project is under investigation until December 8, 2024. It was presented Monday, November 11 during a public information session at the CUBE in Beausobre. The public came in large numbers and was able to discuss the project with members of the Municipality and staff of the City of Morges.

After the public inquiry, the Municipal Council will be called upon to decide on a construction credit in spring 2025. The work, co-financed by the Confederation via the agglomeration project, could begin at the end of 2025.
