Qualified at the last minute for the inter-departmental level, the under-13 B team (U13) from Boulazac hosted, for its first championship match, the Sarlat Périgord Noir team. And the match started at a high pace, with a lot of turnovers on each side. No team managed to break away.
However, shortly before the end of the first quarter, the Sarladais found a little skill and created a first gap (14-23, 10th). But during the second quarter, the BBD, coached by Tom Fraysse, assisted by Emma Feliciano, got closer (30-34 at halftime).
Everything was still possible for the young Boulazacois who, upon returning from the locker room, showed great energy and great solidarity in defense. On the other hand, the players from Périgord Noir experienced a slump and lost control (46-37, 30th)
The end of the match was tense and there were still many ball losses. Sarlat got closer (50-46, 35th) but Boulazac managed to manage the end of the match and let his joy explode at the buzzer, with a 58-52 victory for this team largely made up of first year players.
