Committed to a global approach to environmental excellence, the Dordogne Departmental Council has made the introduction of organic and local products in collective catering one of its priorities.

The Leroi Gourhan du Bugue college is the fifteenth establishment in Dordogne to obtain the En cuisine Ecocert label 100% organic, local, homemade and seasonal. The college has been committed to this approach for many years under the leadership of the chef, Rémi Laporte, and his team.

On October 16, 2024, the Ecocert organization carried out an audit in the kitchen, validating the obtaining of the 100% organic label Excellence with convincing results: 66% organic-local products, 100% components prepared from raw products or little processed, food cost (€2.26), more than 10 local suppliers (producers and producer groups).
