A two-step plan
In order to compensate for episodes of turbidity due to the erosion of natural limestone in the sources, which could affect the water of Saint-Geniès-de-Malgoirès, a two-step transformation had to be carried out. In 2019 a turbidity treatment plant was built. Then, the new reservoir, allowing the storage of up to 1,800 m³ of treated water, which strengthens the storage capacity of the municipality and thus ensures a sufficient water reserve in the event of need or incidents on the network.
