At the start of the afternoon, Belgian know-how in the horse breeding sector was highlighted during an engagement in which Princess Märtha Louise of Norway took part. His youngest daughter, Emma Tallulah Behn, is already Norwegian junior champion in show jumping, riding a Belgian mare.

After this reunion with Princess Märtha Louise, who took the opportunity to introduce her fiancé, the shaman Durek Verret, whose wedding is planned for August 31, Princess Astrid headed to the royal palace in Oslo. Reunion between royal cousins of Belgium and Norway
Crown Prince Haakon, 50, is the only son and heir of King Harald V. Princess Astrid is the sister of the current King Philip and the daughter of the former King Albert II. King Albert II of Belgium and King Harald V of Norway are first cousins.

One of King Harald’s sisters, Princess Astrid, now 92 years old, bears this first name in memory of her aunt, Queen Astrid of Belgium, who died prematurely at the age of 29 in 1935. Princess Astrid of Belgium bears obviously this first name in memory of this same Queen Astrid, her grandmother.
