While the fire of a new construction machine for the future A69 motorway was noted, this Monday, June 17 in Saïx, a gendarmerie operation is currently being carried out on a camp of opponents of the project.

The cabin of a Daf tank truck was set on fire on the A69 construction site in Saïx, within the perimeter of the former ZAD la Crem’arbre site, along the RD50. The vehicle was reportedly found in this state this Monday, June 17 afternoon. While the last nocturnal fires of construction machinery on the A69 (Puylaurens, Lacroisille, Teulat, etc.) had been claimed by the IPCC (Leftist Engineers in Disaster Eviction), we do not know, for the moment, who is the cause of this disaster. A team of bomb disposal experts was dispatched to the site to intervene on a possible explosive device. But it turns out that this device was fake. The firefighters were also mobilized. At the end of the afternoon, the train which had been stopped on the nearby railway following this event was able to leave. According to several sources, a gendarmerie operation was underway on a camp of opponents of the construction site which is not far from the place where the truck was set on fire.
