Estaca is a new foster home for young people in difficulty in Tarn-et-Garonne. Property of Tarn-et-Garonne habitat and developed by him, this place, managed by the Departmental Center for Children and Families.

It takes care of young people with behavioral disorders or weakened life coursesthus responding to the growing needs in terms of child protection.

Open since July 2024

L'Estaca, open since July 2024 at Montauban, offers a living environment specially designed to stabilize young people in difficulty. “This new reception area, which currently accommodates four young people, offers an environment on a human scale, conducive to reintegration and recovery », Specifies the Department of Tarn-et-Garonne.

This new foster home benefits from significant financial support, with a budget of 469 200 € allocated to operating costs, and an additional €73,000 for infrastructure.

The Departmental Council also plans to resize in the medium term emergency receptionat the departmental level, in order to better respond to economic challenges and adapt structures to the changing needs of young people in care.
