Found killed in Périgueux

The session will begin Tuesday, November 12, at 2 p.m., with the case of the murder of Jean-Yves Di Pasquale, found dead in an apartment on Cours Tourny, in Périgueux, in April 2021.

Arnaud Dufour, a 37-year-old homeless man, is accused of having killed this former municipal employee of Sorges who hosted him at his home from time to time. He allegedly killed him by giving him a violent blow to the head. Wanted by the police, he was arrested three months after the murder, in , and placed in pre-trial detention pending his trial at the assizes. He faces twenty years in prison for murder. The verdict will be delivered Thursday evening, November 14, after three days of hearing.

Therapist arrested in Spain

The session will resume on Friday, November 15, in the morning, with the case of Perigord sexologist Lionel Agullo, accused of rape and possession of a pornographic image of a minor. Sentenced in November 2021 to six years in prison after a default judgment rendered by the Assize Court in his absence, Lionel Agullo asked to be retried for the same criminal acts.

Detained since his arrest in Spain in June 2023, after a year and a half on the run, the therapist, presumed innocent at this stage, risks twenty years in prison. The Assize Court will deliver its verdict on the evening of Tuesday, November 19.

Attempted murder and rape

The third case will be heard from Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 November. Jordan Sobriel is accused of attempted murder preceded or accompanied by another crime, in this case rape. The facts occurred on the night of September 10 to 11, 2021: the thirty-year-old, who grew up in , allegedly followed a receptionist before forcing her to have sex on the public highway, in Boulazac-Isle-Manoire. He allegedly punched his victim several times in the face and body and hit his head against the ground.
