This Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the VTC drivers express their anger in Bordeaux. From dawn, they will carry out a snail operation which should impact road traffic.

9:10 a.m.: the convoy leaves from the Matmut Atlantique stadium
Nearly 300 vehicles left the Matmut Atlantique stadium towards Saint-Jean station. Traffic jams stretch from Lormont to the François Mitterrand bridge.
8:15 a.m.: Traffic is slow on the ring road
The VTC drivers met as planned in the parking lot of the Matmut Atlantique stadium and since 8 a.m., they have launched a few cars for the snail operation before stopping the convoy to postpone the big start to 9 a.m.
On the outer ring road, cars travel slowly between Lormont and Floirac. Same in the interior direction between Pessac and Bègles.
To make matters worse, a material accident between two vehicles took place on the A10 towards Bordeaux, near Cubzac-les-Ponts, creating traffic jams up to the entrance to the ring road.
6:45 a.m.: The action planned by VTC drivers
Starting this morning, VTC drivers will carry out a snail operation. They leave towards 7h30 from the Matmut Atlantique car park located in Bordeaux-Lac. They will then take the Charles Bricaud course to reach the Saint-Jean station.
A break will be taken before hitting the road again to get to theairport from Bordeaux-Mérignac. The mobilization will end at the end of the afternoon by going to the city hall then in front of the prefecture.
