The neighborhood councils of Mont-de-Marsan are committed to celebrating the magic of Christmas with several festive events.

-From November 30 to December 3, a 100% Mons creators' market will be held at Les Halles, offering local artists the opportunity to present their works. While allowing the people of Mons to decorate the base of their Christmas tree with gifts made in “the city of three rivers”. Registrations for a stand until November 28.

-A festive tea party for the elderly is planned for December 15, and on December 21, laser shows will light up the sky. To enjoy the shows, it is advisable to position yourself at the level of the water trough.

-A “My handmade, plastic-free tree” competition invites participants to create Christmas trees from natural materials, with an exhibition in the city center. This year again, the trees will be on display in the city center, particularly in Mons stores partnering with the event from December 1 to January 6. – A soup competition. The neighborhood councils are organizing a “homemade” soup competition on Friday, November 29 at 7 p.m., at Les Halles: “The competition is open to volunteer cooks of all ages and from all backgrounds. Perfume, smells and flavors… your soup is surely the best, even if the recipe is not original, or on the contrary because the recipe is very original. In pieces or mixed, local or exotic, from your grandmother's recipe book or from a starred chef: all differences are accepted! This small, friendly event is an opportunity for participants to work with seasonal products… and for visitors to warm up by tasting them. » say the organizers. Registrations open until November 28.
