The sixty-year-old who disappeared in Conflent-Fenouillèdes (Pyrénées-Orientales) after a mushroom trip with the family, was finally found on Saturday November 9. This is what the Pyrénées-Orientales gendarmerie tells France 3 Occitanie.
The man was found at midday, “healthy” indicates the gendarmerie. He simply got lost yesterday at the end of the day, being trapped in particular by the drop in light.
The sixty-year-old suddenly disappeared late yesterday afternoon while he was picking mushrooms alone at that time. He had no longer given any sign of life at a place called Creu de Marqueixanes towards Rabouillet.
The family therefore notified the emergency services, who began looking for him. This morning, police, firefighters and around sixty civilians including family members had participated in this search. A security post had even been installed in addition.
