A 16-year-old teenager lost his life this Friday evening after an accident in the town of Eaunes, south of Toulouse. The driver, who fled without helping him, was apprehended by the Carbonne gendarmes during the night. This 37-year-old man was driving under the influence of cocaine.

According to the first elements collected, the accused was driving after having consumed cocaine. This substance was also partly seized from his vehicle.
This Saturday morning, the thirty-year-old was interviewed by investigators. His interrogation is expected to continue until Sunday. Over the past ten days, at least five people have died on the department's roads. A worrying series.
