This Friday, November 8, 2024shortly after 8 p.m., a serious accident occurred on the D904 road in Les Mages, in Gard. A collision involving a van and a scooter seriously injured two 15-year-old teenagers, a boy and a girl. The driver of the van escaped the accident unhurt.
Faced with the seriousness of the two young people's injuries, firefighters quickly intervened to provide them with first aid. Three SMUR teams from SAMU 30 were sent to the site.
Two hospitals to care for adolescents
During the intervention, traffic was stopped on both lanes. Once their condition was stabilized on site, the two young people were transported to separate hospital centers. The teenager was sent to Alès hospital, while the teenager was transferred to the Nîmes hospital center.
