Legislative elections 2024: the candidates of the New Popular Front in Calvados, no name for the 3rd constituency

The parties of the New Popular Front are making progress in their negotiations. Result, in Calvados, the names of the union candidates are emerging, this Friday June 14, 2024, only one constituency currently has no candidate, the third, that of Lisieux-Falaise. No name, but a color: that of the Socialist Party.

For the others, let’s take it in order. The first constituency, that of Caen-Est, should be represented by Emma Fourreau (LFI), recently elected MEP. The second is the outgoing deputy, Arthur Delaporte, who returned to the campaign as soon as the dissolution was announced.

For the 4th constituency, that of Côte Fleurie, Pierre Mouraret (PCF), the mayor of Dives-sur-Mer is going on the campaign trail. In Bessin, for the 5th, it is, according to our information, the environmentalist mayor Thomas Dupont-Federici, the candidate of the left.

Finally, to face Elisabeth Borne, the rebel, Noé Gauchard goes back to campaign in the constituency of Vire, the 6th of Calvados.

Candidates in Orne

In Orne, three candidates from the Socialist Party will represent the New Popular Front, including the outgoing Chantal Jourdan, in the 1st Ornaise constituency.
