Cédric G., this “disciple” of Dominique Pelicot who says he wanted to sedate his wife

JUSTICE – A gesture of « curiosity ”, according to the principal concerned. Back after a week's break, the Mazan rape trial studied the case of Cédric G. this Friday, October 8. He is one of the men in the dock for sexually assaulting Gisèle Pelicot in her home, while she was being chemically subjugated by her husband, Dominique Pelicot.

Before the Vaucluse criminal court, this 50-year-old man admitted that after going to the Pelicot home once again in October 2017, he had considered “out of curiosity” to reproduce on his partner the same process of chemical submission.

“I have this contact with Mr. Pelicot, he offers me that (to reproduce what he did to his wife). There is no excitement, no desire but curiosity”thus explained this fifty-year-old, who has the particularity of being one of the rare men among the 51 accused to clearly recognize having known in advance that Gisèle Pelicot would be asleep and that it would therefore be a rape.

“I'm asking Mr. Pelicot about his process. At this point in my life, I have already caused a lot of deviance, I even chase after it. Mr. Pelicot gives me information, explains to me how he proceeds”explained Cédric G.

Several weeks after his visit to the Pelicots in Mazan, the man who presented himself as a « disciple » by Dominique Pelicot, “conductor” of this affair, had therefore received anxiolytics from him to use on his own partner.

A profile with multiple “sexual deviance”

In court, he explained that at that moment, he had “ two feet in fantasy » and pushed “the cursor a little further”. However, he claims that at the time of his meeting with Dominique Pelicot to receive the sedatives, in front of his partner's home in Aix-en-Provence, he finally wanted to change his mind. “As strange as it may seem for a person like me, who looks for danger, when we arrive I say to myself ‘stop, stop everything’”testified this former computer technician.

“I am in sedative detention. It gives you a feeling of power, of power, it flatters your ego a little, you are in possession of something forbidden, you are in total enjoyment. There is something transgressive, there is fantasy, but not acting out”added this man prosecuted for “aggravated rape” and who faces 20 years of criminal imprisonment.

“At some point, I see that it goes too far”finally concluded Cédric G, described by psychiatrist Laurent Layet as a personality with multiple “sexual deviance”requiring “absolutely an injunction for care”. This fan of exhibitionism, voyeurism, swinging and even urophilia possessed numerous child pornography images, a related offense for which he is also being prosecuted in Avignon.
