This Sunday, November 3, it was at the Auch bowling alley, Route de Roquelaure, that the final phases of the Gers club championships, all divisions combined, men's and women's, took place.
After a tough game in the semi-final against the Gimont team, the “blue and white” managed to reach the final. It is with great motivation that they will challenge the great Auch team for the title of Gers first division champion. After taking the lead in the “head to head” event (4-2), the “doublets” deadline arrives and the Panassacais manage to maintain their lead (3-1). It is at this moment that they realize that they will simply need one last game to win to touch the grail. After a first lost triplet, hopes are pinned on the last opposition where Florian Davasse, Éric Lauray and Damien Camillo fight against the very good team of Auch La Hourre (Sebastien Lille, Franck Dexidour and Alain Durand) after many close ends. And on a final point ball, Damien, the team's youngest, allows the Panassacais to win the Gers champion title. Congratulations to Florian, Éric, Damien, Nicolas, Francis, Umberto and Patrick who brought back the first title in the club's history. With this departmental coronation, 1st division, it is all this beautiful dynamic association which is rewarded. Pleasure, conviviality and performance are, in fact, well-known values conveyed by this charming village of Astarac, like its Pétanque club. Well done.
