Firminy: two days of exhibition dedicated to manga at Firmament
If you are a fan of Japanese culture, pop culture or video games, this show is for you! The curious are also welcome at this meeting, organized by a team of passionate volunteers, the Syph'Krew, in partnership with the municipality. This Friday and Saturday, a plethora of free events will immerse you in geek culture.
Many illustrators and artists (Nevy, Lunhaku, Siby Ogawa, etc.) will be present around stands of books and figurines, and various creative workshops will be offered: drawing, pixel art, wish trees, makeup, ironing beads, etc.
Dive into the history of video games
The world of video games will have a large place at the show, particularly with arcade machines which will allow you to play classics like Pacman or Street Fighter. The Adventure Games association will also be there with its various retro game consoles such as Atari, Master System, Super Nes, Megadrive, Nintendo 64, etc.
A cosplay competition on the program
Saturday will be marked by a cosplay competition which will have, as jury, two members of the Syph'Krew accompanied by big names from this universe: Artemis, French_cosplayer and Ash.
Visitors, dressed in their best costume, will also have plenty of time to wander the aisles of the show to introduce the uninitiated to this rapidly expanding creative hobby.
Friday 8, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Firmament.
