Things are going well for bikes in Yvelines

Launched by the government, the Cycling and Active Mobility Plan is implemented until 2027. The State wants in particular to make the bicycle “a credible alternative to the individual car for local travel”. Last year, for example, 210 million euros were used to develop cycle paths and greenways. In Yvelines, these paths crisscross the territory, with 936 kilometers already passable. The objective is for 1,077 kilometers to be accessible in the department.
