Finals in Douchapt for the young cyclocrossman challenge with radiant sunshine even in the morning.

The places were almost acquired, but they had to be validated and it was done for Stan BURGUNDIES (JS St Astier) in U7, Timéo FROM BIRTH CORREIA (MTB Evasion) in U9, Constance VANNEROT (JS St Astier) U9F, despite his absence, Alexy ESTEVE (CC Périgueux) in U11, Victor OLD ESTONIA (Vélosilex) in U13, Loucia FROM BIRTH U13F, Caesar ROUZAUD (Dordogne Sud) U15 and Elyna DA SILVA CORREIA (JS St Astier) U15F

They will receive their prize during the General Assembly of the Departmental Committee on November 29 in Périgueux.

On the slopes of Douchapt, we saw some very good participations from these young people who are striving to place themselves and to reap the successes allowing them to climb the general rankings of this challenge.

From the U11 category, the race became particularly clear during the last lap, where Jules EDGES (Dordogne Sud) came to overwhelm his club friend Léandre JABLONSKIwhich everyone was waiting for, even the speaker of the day did not see it. All's well that ends well though. Alexy ESTEVE (CC Périgueux) is the third.

Victor OLD ESTONIA (Vélosilex) dominated its category, taking its 3th victory out of 3 possible in front of his new teammate Timotei SPAN second again and Ernest PHILIPS (EVCC ) third again. Justin LAFAYE (CC Périgueux) does not follow them very far but is just at the foot of the podium. Anna WHICH (VTT Evasion) U13F won the girls' race, but its only appearance relegates it to third position, because first place rightfully goes to Loucia FROM BIRTH (VTT Evasion) who already had 2 victories in St Martin and Bergerac.

Elyna DA SILVA CORREIA (JS St Astier) in U15F wins the title with its 3 victories

In this same category, but as boys, we experienced a great fight between Caesar ROUZAUD (South Dordogne) and his dolphin Martin BOCQUIER (JS St Astier) which was the local of the day. Martin had a very good race, forcing César ROUZAUD to dig deep within himself. The Salvadoran's “against” to “let go” on the last climb was confirmed at the finish. Beautifully grippable as we like them. Arthur DARRIN (CC Périgueux) takes third place, in a beautiful way.

Apart from the award ceremony at the AGM, this season's challenge is unfortunately over, since organizations will be lacking. It is regrettable that there are only 3 participations, the organizers who responded this mini season must be thanked
