Around 10:30 a.m., she was in the reception area of ​​the Blanchard Agriculture company in Lieusaint (Manche) to carry out a delivery.

They could see that he was hooded when he turned to his left to head in the direction of Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte. »

The man fled with the goods.

The delivery girl, shocked (Editor's note, the thief also took her personal belongings), immediately raised the alarm. And the description and registration of the vehicle were communicated to the Valognes gendarmerie brigade where a complaint was filed. A message was also shared on social networks to find the trace of the vehicle. A search was launched by the gendarmerie and an investigation opened.

For the manager of the ColiService company, there is no doubt that the thief had prepared his attack.

“The vehicle’s geolocation device has been torn off or jammed. Our delivery person visits the company daily. He probably had to hide somewhere, waiting for the best moment. »

The targeted vehicle was finally found late in the afternoon burned in a field in Rauville-la-Place. It was the owner of the field who made the discovery and alerted the gendarmerie.

It is currently unknown whether the cargo was still on board the burnt vehicle. However, this seems unlikely, as thieves generally take care to erase all traces of their passage by burning the vehicle. The amount of objects and packages stolen or destroyed has not yet been estimated.
