A “regional cycling” plan

With the creation of this new service, young people from Tarn-et-Garonne will be able to borrow freely these bikes in order to make the journeys home-high schoolbut also during school trips organized by the school’s teachers. “With an VAE, you are guaranteed to make carbon-free trips in complete autonomy.“, continued the regional advisor.

In experimental phase

While this service is currently in the experimental phase, Patrice Garrigues hopes that the VAE loan will allow young people to “become aware of current environmental issues” as well as “the need to change our behavior in terms of mobility“.

Note that, several high schools present in Occitanie are also an integral part of this operation.
