The day after the fatal accident on the A6 near Évry-Courcouronnes (Essonne), a call for witnesses was launched. The legal support group of the CRS Autoroute Sud Île-de-France, responsible for the investigation, is looking for road users who may have witnessed the collision. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is invited to contact the CRS motorway by telephone at 01.70.29.80.71 or 72.
As a reminder, the accident occurred around 9 a.m. this Wednesday, November 6. A van loaded with various objects in its dumpster, collided head-on with the rear of a tanker truck (empty), on the A6 direction Paris Province, just before exit N 104 – A5, on the right of the road.
The 18-year-old man in the passenger seat did not survive. The 60-year-old woman who was at the wheel was airlifted in an absolute emergency in the morning to Créteil hospital. It is unknown how his state of health has evolved since then. Around twenty firefighters, as well as 2 Smur teams and a helicopter, were mobilized for this intervention. Traffic was temporarily blocked.
The driver of the heavy goods vehicle was questioned by the police. As is customary, blood samples were taken.
